Dr. Rajesha J has been serving the College for three decades and has taken over as the Principal of the College on 1st August 2025,With extensive 32 years teaching Experience and two year principal experience as an Associate Professor in the same management evening college. is honed her leadership abilities as the Head of the Department of Kannada. His firm, but affectionate approach towards imparting knowledge has won him many admirers among his pull fill over the years.

Dr. Rajesha J is committed to charting a new chapter in the growth of the institution. He is focused on encouraging a cultural shift on the campus and elevating the college’s stature in applying the precious gift of education for the betterment of the nation and society.

"Visveswarapura College of Arts and Commerce, Bangalore is a six-decade old Higher education Institution, started by Rajya Vokkaligara Sangha. It is affiliated to Bangalore City University and recognized by the Department of Collegiate Education, Karnataka. It is an institution that caters to students from a variety of backgrounds. They blend into an effective community that benefits from the talents and identities of each individual. We, at the College, offer students the opportunity to connect in different ways. With permanent full time experienced faculty members, the College enjoys good infra structure and excellent location connectivity of metro train and city market bus stand. We offer B.A. and B Com, programs which prepare students for professional and academic careers. We endeavor to uphold the principles of right to justice, equality, and promote equal rights and opportunities for women. We assure and promise students and parents that we will strive to provide good education and help students imbibe ethical standards with humanitarian outlook towards life." The College has the necessary infrastructure to facilitate meaningful teaching-learning. It has a resourceful library with more than 34,000 books, 16 thousands of titles and well equipment computer lab, To facilitate the all-round development of the student, encouragement is given to, NSS, Sports, cultural, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Highly qualified and motivated faculty leave no stone unturned to achieve an excellent academic environment in the institution. The College has received great support from the Government, Department of Collegiate Education and alumni support. We have the MOU of some NGO to train skill development programmers and we support placement. The College is B grade Accredited by NAAC with 2.12 CGPA.
