Dr. B.Shreelaltha

Dr. Shreelatha has been serving the College for three decades and took over as the Principal of the College on 1 May 2022.With extensive teaching experience as an Associate Professor in the same Institution, she honed her leadership abilities as the Head, Department of Commerce. Her firm, but affectionate approach towards imparting knowledge has won her many admirers among her pupils over the years.

Dr. Shreelatha is committed to charting a new chapter in the growth of the institution. She is focused on encouraging a cultural shift on campus and elevating the college’s stature in applying the precious gift of education for the betterment of the nation and society.

"Visveswarapura College of Arts and Commerce, Bangalore is a six-decade old Higher education Institution, started by Rajya Vokkaligara Sangha. It is affiliated to Bangalore City University and recognized by the Department of Collegiate Education, Karnataka. It is an institution that caters to students from a variety of backgrounds. They blend into an effective community that benefits from the talents and identities of each individual. We, at the College, offer students the opportunity to connect in different ways.

With permanent full time experienced faculty members, the College enjoys good infra structure and excellent location. We offer B.A. and B Com, programs which prepare students for professional and academic careers. We endeavor to uphold the principles of right to justice, equality, and promote equal rights and opportunities for women. We assure and promise students and parents that we will strive to provide good education and help students imbibe ethical standards with humanitarian outlook towards life."
